I mean, come on, what hardcore beauty wants to be tearing up the track, demolishing her opponents and invoking the cheers of screaming fans with duct tape on her skate toes? Or, even worse, those flimsy so-called leather toe covers that are just strips of crap that move from side to side and don’t really protect anything anyhow? It’s not right and, thanks to some mad leather skills and extensive testing by some of the meanest skaters in the deserts of Arizona, I present to all you ferocious derby girls out there, the Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers by El Vaquero Muerto Leather Art.

Your skates are expensive, fine-tuned machines that allow you to shoulder, hip-check, bump and fight your way to victory. So show them a little well-deserved love and give them the protection to keep on flying!

Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers are made from 1/8″ thick Black Aniline Dyed Latigo Leather. This industrial strength leather is then riveted with Nickel Plate Steel Tube Rivets for added strength and durability. The result is a tough armor-like cover that cups the toe of the skate, keeping it from moving side to side while looking good at the same time.

Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers come in two “Statements”:

Classic – the original model, tough, sweet and to the point.

Industrial – the ultimate in skate protection with extended coverage on the top and sides for those who abuse their skates like their opponents – UNMERCIFULLY!

Industrial Roller Derby Toe Covers

Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers may also be customized with up to 4 stamped letters beneath the lace holes. Jewels in your team’s color or metal spots in Nickel, Gunmetal or Brass can also be added over the top of the lace holes. These options each cost $10 extra and can be ordered custom by contacting me.

The Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers attach to the skate by inserting the toe stop through the bottom hole and the laces through the smaller ones on top. They can be easily cleaned with a damp rag and polished with shoe polish.

When ordering your Roller Derby Skate Toe Covers, please include a measurement of the distance from the front of the toe stop screw hole in your skate to the bottom of the skate toe. This helps me make sure that the covers will fit your skates tightly.
