So why do we spend $500 on skates and end up wrapping the toes in electrical tape?  We contacted leather artist El Vaquero Muerto to to see if he could come up with a better solution. After several redesigns he has come up with a customizable leather toe cover that works perfectly. These toe covers are built with tough leather to take all the abuse so your skates don’t have to. They connect from the toe stop to the laces without any modifications to your skates and don’t use any adhesives that can break down the leather in your boots.  Each pair is hand made and wraps around the entire toe of your skate. They wont shift to the side like the leather strips sold on other sites. The leather is top quality, hand cut, and dyed throughout with black vegetable dye. This dyeing process makes it so that the color can’t be worn off. These toe covers will stand up to concrete and asphalt and will probably outlast your knee pads.
